This year, Crittenton Women’s Union celebrates five years of transforming the lives of thousands of women and their families through its innovative approaches to breaking the cycle of poverty.
Working with 1,300 people a year since 2006, CWU helps families build the foundation for economically secure lives---a permanent home, an education, financial management skills, a career. CWU goes beyond providing one service or program. Our commitment extends through every aspect of a person’s journey to economic independence.
In the past five years, CWU has launched groundbreaking programs, such as Career Family Opportunity and the Economic Mobility Institute, and introduced invaluable tools like the Economic Independence Calculator, theBridge to Self-Sufficiency™, and Mobility Mentoring™. CWU works every day to equip low-income women with what they need to Live, Work, and Thrive!
