Every day, women like Lechille, pictured here, come to us for help, and like her, many are homeless with children to care for. Lechille and her infant daughter, Lanae, suddenly became homeless last year. Thankfully, they found food and temporary housing at our emergency shelter in Brighton. But Lechille was surprised to find she could receive so much more at CWU.
Lechille began to studing medical information management at Bunker Hill Community College this January! What’s more, she now has a full-time job and pays part of the rent on her Abbot House apartment.
